For the last couple of years, Detroit’s very own La’Britney has been on a steady grind on the hip hop scene. She’s been blossoming very early into her career and the mainstream industry is finally starting to take notice of her. 50 Cent, Ashanti, Christina Milian, and R. Kelly have all publicly co-signed the young rapper, and now, the latest co-sign comes from Kash Doll. Rather than merely giving her sign of approval, she did a song with La’Britney called “Actin’ Funny.” They just released a music video for the track, and it can be seen right below.
The come-up of La’Britney has been long overdue for awhile now. Her #LaMix videos have gotten her a lot of attention as of late, and now it seems like all of that talent is finally starting to pay off. With this new single alongside hip hop powerhouse and fellow Detroiter, Kash Doll, under her belt, La’Britney is on her way to reigning supreme upon the hip hop industry. She has yet to release a project, but she is currently prepping to release her first EP as we speak. No word on a release date just yet.
