There’s always so much to see at Movement Electronic Music Festival, but Emcee has you covered with our top picks for each day of the festival!

Day 2: Sunday, 5/24

Movement Stage

Carl Cox is one of the best to ever do it, and he doesn’t get to Detroit very often, so his presence alone is enough to bring people out to the Main Stage on Sunday. Add in Techno co-founder Kevin Saunderson’s E-Dancer project with his son Dantiez, UK powerhouse Eli Brown, and local favorite DJ Sphinx for her Movement Stage debut, and this stage proves to be one to keep a close eye on.

Waterfront Stage

C’mon now…DJ Harvey, The Dare, and Barry Can’t Swim?? This is the type of combination that only happens at Movement Festival, specifically on the Waterfront Stage, and trust us when we say that you won’t want to miss it. Plus don’t miss local favorite Tammy Lakkis, who is sure to bring a great riverside vibe!

Detroit Stage

Once again, shout out to the Detroit Stage! Emcee favorites DJ Killa Squid and Kesswa will be making their Movement debuts along with a host of impressive locals including Hypmelo, Lady Witch, Something Blue, and more! Once again, this stage is the place to be if you’re looking for the next big thing coming out of Detroit.

Honorable Mentions

  • Blawan (live) and DJ Bone at the Underground Stage
  • Father Dukes and Maceo Plex at Pyramid Stage
  • Skream and Beige at Stargate Stage
