There’s always so much to see at Movement Electronic Music Festival, but Emcee has you covered with our top picks for each day of the festival!

Day 1: Saturday, 5/23
Waterfront Stage
Hip Hop heads will know exactly where to go, it’s Waterfront Stage with Danny Brown and Peezy all day! But of course there’s so much more than that, namely ghettotech legend DJ Godfather, Zack Fox b2b JYOTY, and local rising starts AK and JMT. The Waterfront Stage is often one of the most ambitious and genre-defying stages at the fest, so if you’re looking for some unexpected surprises, this is your spot.
Stargate Stage
Detroit Love’s takeover of the Stargate Stage is going to be the place to be for all you house music lovers looking for a soulful vibe. This stage is absolutely PACKED with live acts such as Dames Brown and Jessica Care Moore, along with Detroit staples like Stacey ‘Hotwaxx’ Hale and John Collins, among many others. Detroit Love’s own Carl Criag b2b with Cajmere is the icing on the cake and then some.
Detroit Stage
This stage may very well show up on our list every day so we will just name some personal highlights, but if you’re looking to keep your ear to the ground in Detroit, this stage is the place to be. Disc Jockey George, Dru Ruiz, Duck Trash, and Sheefy McFly to name a few, plus live sets from Rebecca Goldberg and STS. I mean come on. Really the whole line up is stacked, if you stayed at this stage the whole time I wouldn’t blame you.
