Aaliyah fans are excited that their hard work paid off! The late great R&B Princess Aaliyah is finally getting her own collection with MAC Cosmetics. #AaliyahForMac will launch Summer 2018. MAC’s press release today says; “Aaliyah is truly one in a million. An unstoppable icon whose groundbreaking work in R&B music and film inspires us all. Today we join her countless fans in celebrating her with the announcement of the M.A.C Aaliyah collection. You made it happen! Stay tuned in 2018.”
For a long time Aaliyah fans made hashtags and posts demanding MAC to make a collection in her honor. Finally MAC caught on and fans are ecstatic! On August 25th it was the sixteen anniversary of Aaliyah’s passing but–her legacy continues to go on. Her undeniable beauty, style, music and dance moves are still something people gravitate to and love.
