NVDEEM has been quietly working on his next project Dearborn for quite some time, and it looks like we’re finally getting a sneak peek of the new music in the form of today’s premiere of “Suffocation,” the lead single, which was just released as a short film on Youtube (check out the link here).
“Dearborn speaks on being a Muslim kid from Lebanon and growing up on crime infested streets within Metro Detroit. The album is filled with earth shattering drum kicks and screeching heavy metal trap vocals, and the alternative hip hop style mixed with Horrah’s stories of drugs, death, distraction, and heartbreak makes for a very interesting listen. The album is executive produced by founding WE!RDOZ GANG members Lokye and Akhil Sesh, in collaboration with Prada Leary. The album features production from Ace English, Saint Laurent, and Madlink, along with big features from Loni Bands and Akhil Sesh.”
The video, produced by Brian H. Newman and directed by DJ Kage, features performances by SexTez and Jon Holder along with additional music from Lokye. The whole release seems like an exciting collaboration from the WE!RDOZ GANG crew, and it comes in anticipation of NVDEEM’s new project as well as his show next Friday, 5/24 at Trumbullplex as a part of the “King of the Mosh” tour, which will feature members of the WE!RDOZ GANG crew as well as appearances from Prada Leary, Kenny V, and more. Check out the video link below, and be sure to catch the live show next week for a chance to see NVDEEM and his collaborators bring their unique brand of music and energy to life.
