The music WRLD has been blessing us with gems lately with back-to-back drops from Gunna, Solange, Offset, 2Chainz & more. It’s been a busy few weeks of catching up for us music enthusiasts – but we’re not complaining!

Last night, Juice WRLD joined that list, gifting us with a second dose of his upcoming album ‘Deathrace for Love’ which he shared was inspired by the PlayStation game “Twisted Metal”.

On his newest track “Hear Me Calling” (produced by Purps on the Beat), a Caribbean enthused beat takes center-stage, fusing uniquely with Juice’s signature emo-rap style. The result? a whine-friendly track with original flavor that’ll no doubt be in heavy rotation and daily featured on your favorite playlist.

The song features a deliciously delivered message which is highly remnant of the relatable moment mid-lovers quarrel where you’re still feeling upset, but you also miss your loved one. Juice’s lyrics are perfectly transparent and refreshingly depict the result: pent-up affection which comes in overwhelming waves and leads to you choosing to exude love rather than be consumed by the drama of the moment.

Judging by his position reflected in song, Juice seems to be pushing his pride & all problems to the side and attempting to embrace his love as he croons to his lover that he ‘doesn’t want drama’ and ‘only wants [her]’.

“Girl you’re the best, take away stress, love me to death, even when I’m a mess,” he professes to his love interest.

The track is overflowing with tweetable, quotable lyrics, and I can already see the IG captions now as Juice croons to his lover “I’m your fan, your posters on my wall inside my head.

A few other noteworthy lines are:
“Treat your heart just like a blunt of OG/Roll it up, I kissed it and I smoke you”
“Where in the f*ck did you think you were going?/Foldin’ and packin’ your clothes like you ain’t know I was gon’ unfold it.”
“Hate making love when I’m faded/That’s because I wanna feel it.”

Juice WRLD’s sophomore album “Deathrace for Love” is set for release next FridayMarch 8,2019.

While we wait, listen to Juice’s latest drop “Hear Me Calling” now on all digital streaming platforms!
