Today, RARESOUNDS comes through with their latest Detroit-Windsor collaboration in the form of Munch’s new single “Hourglass,” featuring Datsunn and Zillie Holiday.
While this new collective has yet to full introduce itself, RARESOUNDS has already set the stage for an impressive entry with a series of low-key releases and live videos courtesy of Datsunn’s Instagram. On the heels of Munch’s latest release The World Around Me, the Detroit-based rapper joins forces with a few of his close collaborators, just in time for some upcoming work from Datsunn and Holiday themselves.
The track is yet another chance for each artist to showcase their strengths: Munch’s steadfast positivity is right at home over Datsunn’s consistently solid production, all with the added benefit of Zillie Holiday’s thoughtfully crafted wordplay. RARESOUNDS will be releasing new music every Friday in anticipation for more full-length releases to come, so be on the look out for more to come from this promising blend of international influences and genuine creative compatibility.
