Michigan-born artist Skotty Welch released “COSMO” one month ago on September 10th and the track has already caught wind on the internet boasting 14k streams on Soundcloud and 75k streams on Spotify. The vibe-heavy track was produced by Melvin Thomas and has an futuristic feel and melodic vocals while singing in a seductive cadence about a woman who “gives him peace.”

Skotty’s first experiences in entertainment come from starring in plays and commercials at a young age. However in 2012, Skotty developed his love for music into a career.

Beyond music, Skotty Welch finished his undergraduate degree from Howard University where he studied graphic design and graduated with honors. In 2018, Skotty won the Indigo Global Design Award and traveled to Tokyo, Japan to accept the award. Currently, Skotty is attending school at California College of the Arts in San Francisco for a dual-degree master’s program in business (MBA) and design (MFA).

Due to his love for music and fashion, Skotty started an apparel and lifestyle brand in 2013 called Cranium where he resides as the CEO. The brand has been worn by well-known rockstar Lil Uzi Vert and has co-hosted a Miami pool-party alongside Lil Yachty as well as organized a concert in Washington, D.C. with 21 Savage.

Skotty is an all around brilliant creative and entrepreneur. The Emcee team members are on the edge of our seats waiting to see what he has in store for us next.
