For the last few months, Detroit rapper and hip hop tastemaker Prada Leary has been out in LA working hard on his highly anticipated upcoming project, Drug Music 3. His IG stories feature a barrage of high-end partying, VIP company, and of course a lot of recording, setting up wherever there is open space whenever inspiration strikes.
Today, ROSSI BLUE released the new single “Fendi Vampires,” a collaboration with Leary and Blue’s group MATERIAL GIRL, produced by JAY CRIBB$. The song bounces with energy, featuring quick hi-hats juxtaposed with half time rhymes and distorted ad-libs, making it feel right for a club atmosphere or a kick back at the same damn time. Prada Leary adds his signature flow and evolving vocal delivery to an already well-done track, resulting in a vibe that is both familiarly catchy and intriguingly different.
If this is anything like what we can expect for Drug Music 3, the project will surely be some of Prada’s best work yet. His motivation is on a thousand and he knows the time is now, so enjoy this track as a small taste of the greatness to come.
