People are still talking about Beyoncé’s show-stopping concert at this year’s Coachella in Los Angeles. But it’s not just the overall show that we can’t get over–it’s the fashion she rocked on the stage.
Beyoncé wore designs by BALMAIN which had a marching band themed look that represented HBCU colleges. The white and pink sweatshirts with college inspired graphics can now be yours! Another look from the show was her long black t-shirt that also paid homage to historical black colleges with the same graphics.
Olivier Rousteing who is BALMAIN’s Creative Director released a statement about his new collaboration with Bey and how he created her looks for Coachella. He states, “I worked really long with her on the Beychella moments, and the fact that we can release this collaboration that is based on our creativity, Beyoncé and I, is really a big, big step for fashion and music together.” He goes on to say, “Never stop dreaming.”
The Beyoncé x Balmain collection, which ranges from $290 – $1,790, will be available online July 14. Proceeds from this collection will go to the United Negro College Fund.
