Tell us about your story, where you came from, how you grew up.
I grew up pretty simple. Born and raised on Detroit’s eastside. Growing up my family wasn’t rich but we also weren’t poor. Music had been a big part of my life since a young age.
What inspired you to get into music?
What inspired me to get into music was being young and seeing how excited people would get when they heard there favorite artists and songs. From that point I knew that one wanted to be apart of music. Seeing and experiencing how songs could alter people’s feeling and moods.
What are your thoughts on the music scene in your area?
I think it’s great as of right now. I’ve been hearing and seeing A lot of new talent doing they thang.
Who would you like to collaborate with in 2018? Why?
I’d mainly like to collab with different producers. No one in particular. Whoever got the hottest tracks
How would you describe your sound to new fans?
Legendary
How do you separate yourself from other artists in the game?
I think I do so by staying true to my sound.
What has been a stand out moment in your journey thus far?
The fans at the shows. Being on stage and seeing people in the crowd that know the lyrics to songs.
What is next for you? Tell us about any projects you are currently working on.
I just released a full length project via Soundcloud called “Fliiiyoung” featuring 11 songs. We’ve been releasing video as part of promoting the project. And we got “CAINE-SPITTAH 4” coming very soon. Along with more new music. New single will be released throughout the summer time so stay tuned for those as well which will be followed by another fall release.

What are the purpose for the music you make?
The music is to inspire people. Helping them through my words and experiences. Also allowing them to have fun and enjoy themselves.
Who are your favorite producers in the game?
My favs are my in-house producers Chemist; BlaaqGold and Hustleman. I work close with these producers to create the “Th1sisart” sound.
What have you learned from your journey as an artist?
From my journey I’ve learned that you have to be your biggest fan. Your music and career starts with yourself. You gotta wanna be the best and know in your heart that you’re the one.

Tell us about your inspiration behind your song Evolve.
Evolve was very reflective for me. When I heard the music it made me think about how far I had came in my life. The title itself made me think about growth.
What about the music video for Evolve?
The video for Evolve was directed by Soluscon and myself. It also features Fatima Kojima acting as my girlfriend who walks out in me in the video. The concept was pretty simple and easy. I wanted to introduce the viewer to A. Train the artist.
Tell us about your inspiration behind your song These Verses?
“Its kind of hard saying this in person, so I put it all in these verses.” Represents not always being about to get things off your chest with words but rather saying them with a pen and pad. Using music and words to express your pain.
What about the music video for These Verses?
The video for “These Verses” was also directed by Soluscon as well as myself. Fatima stars in this video as well. My vision for this one was to tell a story. But not just one story many stories within 4 minutes.
Tell us about your inspiration behind your song Transition?
Transition was inspire by the current state Detroit. The division within the city and also the rappers that we’ve lost due to hatred and violence. I felt this track was one that needed to be made and heard throughout the town and surrounding cities and states throughout the country.
What about the music video for Transition?
The video is a raw reflection of the what the song is about. The current state of Detroit.
