Today, Sam Austins dropped his latest visuals for the feel-good beauty anthem “FENTY,” premiered via Fake Shore Drive.
This latest single is quite the departure from ANGST, his most recent project which centered around themes of self-doubt and tenacity in the face of hardship.
“FENTY” on the other hand feels like a celebration: over a light and relentlessly bouncy beat courtesy of Sergio R. and Icepic, Austins pays tribute to his love for fashion through short, melodic strokes and energetic ad-libs. The song is an interpretation of the moment in pop culture, with the artist channeling the energy of one of beauty’s hottest trends and manifesting it through his own art-form.
With the help of his incredible collaborators, including director Kurt Schneider and the rest of the team at Eightfold Collective, as well as #BeMVP and many others, Austins delivers the ear-catching track in a world of sensual purples and blues; the video’s palette is both intuitive and innovative, producing an evocative experience for the viewer that is guaranteed to make anyone that watches it feel just a bit sexier.
As Austins continues his hot-streak, be sure to catch him at El Club on April 7th with Bevlove, Curtis Roach, and frequent collaborators Take a Daytrip. Tickets available here.
