The Nike Cortez sneaker was at one time the most popular sneaker that existed, which we credit to the above photos of Farrah Fawcett. Now Nike Cortez is back 45 years later with a limited-edition release and a new look incorporating a rich palette of neutrals for Fall 2017. Nike teamed up with Andrea Lieberman of A.L.C. for the new designs.

The Cortez by A.L.C. features three colors including blush, oil grey and light orewood brown along with a snakeskin-print back tab and an spare set of extra-long laces for the purpose of being wrapped around the ankles.

The designer Andrea Lieberman released a statement saying; “The Cortez has always been my go-to shoe. I design A.L.C. clothes with a sneaker in mind, and I think people have started to style their daily outfits with sneakers in mind, too. The Cortez shares that ‘never not hustling’ spirit that define both the Nike Cortez and A.L.C.”

Mega-Model Bella Hadid is one of the faces of the new sneaker campaign who reenacted that famous photo of Farrah Fawcett for the Nike Cortez’s. The new Nike Cortez by A.L.C will be available starting August 25 exclusively at Nike x Nordstrom sneaker boutiques and Nordstrom The Grove. Starting August 28, they will be available on nike.com.
