Hailee Steinfeld and Charlie Puth pre-taped their performance for the Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular airing on NBC at 8PM/ET. The performance occurred on Wednesday, June 28th and it was certainly a performance to remember.
The American actress, model, and singer performed her most popular songs Starving and Most Girls on a rooftop in front of the Empire State Building in New York City. On the other hand, Charlie Puth performed his hit songs We Don’t Talk Anymore and Attention.
Hailee wore a glamorous two-piece ensemble, which is definitely the perfect outfit to wear for the Fourth of July. She showed off her toned midsection and was honestly glowing from head to toe.
Steinfeld rocked a high, sleek ponytail and wore a pair of black high-heeled booties. Hailee was not afraid to show some skin as she showed off her vocals and dance moves in a skirt with a high slit—don’t you want this outfit, because all of the girls on our team do.
Hailee’s performance consisted of three dancers who all wore outfits which coordinated with the singer, and let us tell you how on point their dance moves were. The 20-year-old was undeniably the center of attention, and as the singer’s song says,
“Most girls are smart and strong and beautiful. Most girls, work hard, go far, we are unstoppable.” That’s right Hailee!
Charlie Puth kept it comfortable and casual in a T-Shirt and jeans, but clearly came to show off his angelic vocals. His piano stood in front of him as he sang along to both of his songs, and his band rocked out behind him.
Puth interacted with his fans nonstop by doing things, such as singing along to 90’s songs, making jokes, and much more. At one point, Charlie was given a cold bottle of water to which he asked for a room temperature bottle. Before rumors begin to swirl, he is definitely not “bougie” or a diva so-to-say. Professionals recommend vocalist drink room temperature water instead of cold water, because their muscles will get cold and contract—causing tension. We hope this little lesson allowed you to learn something new today.
