In just two weeks after its release, Monalyse’s song “Cartiers & Minks” reached over 10k plays on Soundcloud. Although she’s been on the Detroit scene for quite some time, this is her first release in years and we’ve all obviously been waiting for it.
Everything she’s been doing over the past couple years has been leading up to her most recent releases including Colored Girls, a series of 4 videos where she reenacts 4 type of women through poetry.
