Across the various stages at Movement Festival, you can find a lot of variety when it comes do dance music. But beyond techno, house, and their more recent offshoots, Movement has been known to feature at least a few surprises every year for fans of other genres, particularly Hip Hop.
If that’s you, then you need to be at the Waterfront Stage on Saturday, May 25th. The stage has featured the likes of Danny Brown, Earl Sweatshirt, Three 6 Mafia, and more in past years, and for the first day of Movement 2024 organizers have put together something special. Claude Vonstroke’s Hip Hop infused alter-ego Barclay Crenshaw will kick things off, followed by Detroit’s own DJ Etta, D.C. artist and producer dreamcastmoe, and a DJ set from JYOTY. After that, things kick into high gear with an appearance by Atlanta kingpin Ludacris, a high-energy set from Major League DJz, international wild man Partiboi69, and capping off with a hometown set from Detroit legend Tee Grizzley.
Wow. Hard to believe that they can fit all that on one stage, and that is just one of SIX stages that will be bumping all weekend long at Movement Festival. Grab your tickets today at https://movementfestival.com/
