Tape Deck (@TAPEDECK313) is an American Acid House & Trip-Hop Duo Composed of I Am OTHER DJ/Producer Michael “Miguel Millionés” Larson and Hit-A-Lik Entertainment MC Charlie “C-HU$TLE” Buko.

Buko & Larson became friends in their hometown of Ann Arbor, Michigan during the early 2000s and began producing and releasing recorded music via Hit-A-Lik Entertainment & Treetown Records.

Over the next decade Larson and Buko released over 20 collaborative and solo projects with encouraging success. In 2014, Larson won a Grammy Award for his involvement as an engineer for Pharrell Williams’ album “GIRL.” His former Dub Step/EDM trap Duo “Caligula” were also winners of the 2013 Red Bull Culture Clash DJ Competition. Their performance involved a surprise appearance by Slip N’ Slide superstar Trick Daddy.

Buko appeared on MTV in the mid 2000s and has released 10 mixtapes while also opening shows for major artists such as DJ Quik, Dev, Soulja Boy & Mobb Deep. His work has received critical praise from Prodigy of Mobb Deep and super producer/DJ Just Blaze.

In 2014 Larson produced “Bangin’ Like A Boom Box” at Buko’s Bushwick Brooklyn apartment. The record was re-recorded and mastered at Crosby Collective Studios in Soho Manhattan, New York. After massive bureaucratic delays, the record was finally released in 2017 and has since acquired over 116k streams on Soundcloud.
