Rap artist, XXXtentacion, a Florida music legend recently passed away, but will never be forgotten. XXXtentacion was born Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy on January 23, 1998. His music had an incredible impact on thousands of his fans lives. His music reached out to youth in need of help who were going through depression and anxiety. It touched people of all ages in many different and unique ways. His creativity was iconic and was respected by artists in his genre of music.

Through his efforts to help those in need, XXXtentacion founded the charity “A Helping Hand”  here in South Florida which served to provide food, clothing and monetary gifts to those in need. Jahseh wanted to make a worldwide change by giving back to many communities all over the world.

After the passing of XXXtentacion, event coordinator Yesjulz launched the first “A Helping Hand” charity event  on June 24, 2018. The event was held at Charles R. Drew Middle School in Miami Florida. Yesjulz reached out to XXXtentacion’s management and mother Cleo to continue his legacy in giving back to the community here in South Florida. Jahseh’s family and Yesjulz led her team and volunteers to give out over 1000 lunch bags to kids and families throughout different communities in South Florida.

“A Helping Hand” brought positivity and love to everyone who attended this phenomenal event.

All the good people there had so much positive energy. 1AM Creative team did a fantastic job working alongside Julz to continue this project XXXtentacion started. Rapper XXXtencation was a hero to thousands, and not all heroes wear capes. His music and legacy is immortal and will live on. #LongLiveJahseh
