Last week on February 20th, Rihanna turned the big 3-0. She posted photos for her big day and celebrated in style. Speaking of style–Rihanna wore a very interesting shirt in one of her instagram posts that said “I hate Rihanna.” The shirt is designed by Norwegian artist Bjorne Melgaard who exhibited “The Casual Pleasure of Disappointment” during New York Fashion Week. His work is inspired by celebrity obsession and Rihanna was one of his muses. The shirt also says in smaller print, “don’t trust anyone under 30.”

Rihanna’s fans loved her sense of humor in wearing the shirt paired with the caption under the photo that read, “last day to make a bad decision and blame it on my 20’s.” The pop diva kept her look simple with corn rows , a bold red lip and bubble sunglasses. Fans immediately wanted to know where they could get her new shirt, it’s available on the Red Bull Arts New York website gift shop for $130.
Rih celebrated her 30th birthday with a star studded party in New York that included RnB icon Toni Braxton, Jay-Z, Paris Hilton, Loenardo Dicaprio, and boyfriend Hassan Jameel to name a few. In Rihanna’s words, “30 is already my favorite era” and we couldn’t agree more!
