Flako4k is a Florida rapper who has been steadily putting in work to bring the streets and the world great music and excellent visuals. Now, Flako is following the first Green Fever, which dropped nearly a year prior, with Green Fever 2. On Green Fever 2, Flako4k bring his true self on a collection of hard trap bangers, as his foundation as an artist continues to expand.
Green Fever 2, hosted by DJ Arsonist, is a six track EP that includes an intro and outro track to add cohesion to the project. A breezy 15 minutes long, Green Fever 2 can be consumed in a single session, but the lasting power of these tracks is much longer than that. The origin of the Green Fever series, Green Fever, was a great start to what could absolutely be considered a legendary run of underground tapes from Flako4k. The Green Fever tape was uploaded in its entirety on Youtube, and was quickly succeeded with music videos for single releases “Left Hand” and “K Lo K”.

The lead up single “Money Showers” is a gem on the project, with booming drums backing Flako4k’s serious flows and posture, capped off with a hook that would give life to any club or party. Flako keeps the bangers flowing on “Never”, and on the track Flako resorts to a smooth and lowkey hook that shows off the Florida rappers versatility. Flako4k’s literal rap flows are something to attach to as well. Comfortable, in the pocket, and ready for war, Flako4k’s sound carries the project and doesn’t let up for a single verse. “Options” perfectly displays how Flako can slide across the entirety of a track and never deliver a dull moment. Our favorite song on the project besides the heater “Money Showers” would have to be “Mango”, which pops up on the latter end of the EP, and on it Flako4k defines the phrase “Going in”, and supplies a bouncy flow over ear grabbing trap production.
With Green Fever 2, Flako4k marks his will on the game and puts out a project that is filled with top shelf club bangers of especially impressive quality considering the underground nature of the EP. Flako4k has also been distributing posters and physical copies of Green Fever 2 lately, so the movement is definitely alive and well.
